Turns Out “Letting Go” Isn’t a Yoga Pose After All
(Tune in for the stretch no one talks about.)
Some days life feels like a gallery of tidy moments. Other days it’ more abstract and like an unfinished canvases that never fully drys
We’ve all been in that strange in-between where life’s chapters don’t close cleanly.
We’ve all been in those endings that don’t feel like endings and where letting go feels like holding your breath in a room full of memories.
I’ve been there too. Sometimes dramatically, sometimes quietly.
The Heart bruised but still beating kinda thing
Turns out, being human isn’t about never ‘breaking’ but it is about softening around the things that almost did. Wisdom doesn’t arrive like a download.
It sneaks in during moments where we’re too tired to keep performing.
Maybe a relationship ends or the city looks like it’s wearing someone else’s face and suddenly the future feels like an unlabelled jar in the back of the fridge.
However, In that silence after a sigh; in that one second where the emotion passes, what remains is a weird little peace.
Maybe that’s the art of self care. Not holding it all together perfectly but finding soft places to land and little rituals when it all doesn’t.
Not every lesson arrives with a voiceover.
Sometimes it’s just silence and discomfort and the sudden awareness that your thoughts are doing laps in a pool you did not fill.
Let life be life but heal anyway. In your own pace. Your own style. Because even when the plot goes off-script, we’re still the storytellers.
That’s where the grace is. If you’re somewhere between “doing okay” and “staring into the void with snack residue on your fingers,” take heart. Existence is a temporary condition and confusion is our native language.
And in the grand cosmic joke, we’re not the punchline, we are the audience, the actor, the witness and the wildcard all at once.
We are here, we are still alive questioning things and still showing up for the next scene but this time fully moisturised!
